Location - These shots were taken outside of a former home in Lithonia, Ga.
We never planted them, so they were a great surprise to see every spring/summer. Experience this shot that vividly captures a Sachem Skipper, a grass skipper butterfly(Atalopedes campestris), chilling possibly pollinating a black-eyed susan.
Plants and flowers are among my favourite sources for literal and figurative nourishment, cleansing, and grounding. I enjoy capturing their subtle and bold details every chance I get.
